Sebamed Baby Extra Soft Cream 200ml is a rich lipid-based moisturiser for delicate baby and children’s skin. It is intended for skin that needs more protective care than a lightweight lotion, especially on dry arms, legs, elbows or other rough body areas.

Rich natural-lipid formula

Shea butter, jojoba oil, beeswax and hydrogenated castor oil create a protective emollient base. Glycerin helps attract moisture, while panthenol and allantoin support comfort and the skin’s natural recovery process.

How to use the cream

1. Apply to clean, dry skin.
2. Warm a small amount between the hands.
3. Massage gently into dry body areas.
4. Use a thinner layer in warm weather or skin folds.
5. Keep the cream away from the eyes and mouth.

Extra Soft Cream versus Body Lotion

The Extra Soft Cream has a richer, more occlusive texture with shea butter, jojoba oil and beeswax. The Baby Body Lotion is lighter and more convenient for fast all-over application after bathing. Choose according to dryness and preferred texture rather than assuming the cream is automatically needed everywhere.

Use on the face and diaper area

This cream is positioned for general delicate skin. Sebamed makes separate Protective Facial Cream and Diaper Rash Cream formulas for those specific areas. Use the dedicated product when face or diaper-zone care is the main need.

Fragrance and tolerance

The current official formula contains fragrance and preservatives. Introduce it carefully on highly reactive or eczema-prone skin and stop use if persistent rash, swelling or burning develops.

What it cannot treat

The cream moisturises and protects dry-feeling skin but is not an anti-inflammatory medicine or infection treatment. Extensive eczema, infected cracks or a rapidly spreading rash requires professional assessment.
